Use & Care
This is an indoor Kitchen Compost Bin - use outdoors is not advised and may affect longevity. Both the bin and filter can be washed in warm soapy water. Avoid hot or boiling water as this may damage the paint. Do not place in the dishwasher. We advise against placing hot food in the Compost Bin as the heat and condensation can affect longevity. Make sure the filter and the bin are both air dried before reassembly.

How do I compost my food scraps?
Simply empty your scraps directly into your outdoor compost bin. If you're lucky enough to live in a council area that collects organic food waste simply add your scraps to your green bin. If neither of these are possible we'd encourage you to check Sharewaste to find your nearest composting option!
Can you keep a compost bin in the kitchen?
What sets our compost caddy apart is its innovative lid design, featuring a charcoal filter. Say goodbye to unpleasant odours lingering in your kitchen – our lid ensures that any unwanted smells stay inside the bin, not in your kitchen.
How often should I empty my kitchen compost bin?
It's best practice to empty your compost bin like you would any other kitchen bin. Every couple of days we empty ours into our outdoor compost, give the lid, base and filter a rinse and allow to dry and reassemble.

Oh my.. this bin has exceeded all my expectations.
I originally had a cream compost bin and had to replace due to the bottom of it inside, deteriorating, cracking, and having paint flake off it.
Was unsure of the color but now it’s arrived. I am so in love with it. I’ve also purchased the compost bin liners to go in the bucket which would be great if they came with some free liners when you first purchased your bucket.
Absolutely love these compost bins. They are so worth it and every household should have one.❤️
