Quick & Easy Pear & Honey Pizza Recipe

Pear & Honey Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled goat cheese or Gorgonzola (optional, for a tangy kick)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup crushed pecans
  • 2 cups fresh rocket (arugula)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or a tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 200°C. If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.

2. Prepare you pizza dough

3. Assemble the Pizza:

- Drizzle a little olive oil or tomato paste over the dough and spread it evenly.

- Arrange the pear slices and evenly over the dough.

- Sprinkle the crumbled goat cheese or Gorgonzola over the pears (if using)

- Drizzle the honey generously over the entire pizza.

- Sprinkle the crushed pecans on top

4. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.

5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze for an extra layer of flavour (optional).

6. Season with a little salt and pepper to taste
