Both 304 and 316 stainless steel can be used outdoors; however, if you live near the coast or are exposed to salty sea air, we highly recommend you invest in 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel.

Decent Product

The pegs do a decent job and last well in harsh environments. The downside is they are a bit small and a little weak in very windy and exposed sites. Still a good product for most locations and situations and are much better for the environment than the regular plastic pegs.

Perfect

These have replaced my ugly, faded and brittle plastic pegs. I don’t think I’ll ever have to replace these stainless steel pegs. I’ve hung washing out in 40 degree heat and they weren’t hot to touch either.

Great quality, sturdy!

We’ve tried a few types of metal pegs and they’ve been flimsy or fallen apart quite quickly. These feel really sturdy and excellent quality. They don’t move along the line either, they stay put which is great!
