Crispy Air Fryer Chickpeas
This compact snack packs a punch of protein and offers endless versatility. Below is the basic recipe, but feel free to customise it to your liking—whether you prefer tangy crispy chickpeas or spicy ones with an extra kick!
INGREDIENTS
Crispy Air Fryer Chickpeas
- 1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
METHOD
- In a large bowl, mix together chickpeas, olive oil, nutritional yeast, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
- Place the seasoned chickpeas into your air fryer at 180°C (356°F) for 10-15 minutes or until crispy, remembering to shake the chickpeas about halfway through.
- Store them in an open container at room temperature for up to a week.

Here's a speedy lunchbox addition that's perfect for your air fryer. These delectable tofu bites are crunchy, cheesy, and a surefire hit with kids of all ages.
INGREDIENTS
Crispy Cheesy Tofu Bites
- 450g firm tofu, cubed
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (use tamari for gluten free)
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
METHOD
- In a large bowl add tofu, soy sauce, garlic powder and nutritional yeast. Mix until well combined
- Add to an air fryer and cook for 15-18 mins at 200c until crispy
- Eat or store in an air tight container for 2-3 days
