Gua Sha is an ancient Chinese technique that has been used for thousands of years, and is now used globally due to its many benefits. It’s a simple scraping technique that helps with relieving muscle tension, soothing puffiness, improving circulation, and smoothing out your skin - to name a few!

How To Use

If you’re using a Face Oil, apply a small amount to your face and neck. Gently tap into the skin. Then using your Gua Sha tool, work from the centre of your face outwards and glide the tool over your skin following the contours of your face. Moisturiser can also be used instead. It's not recommended to use on bare skin.

How often should you do Gua Sha?

It depends on how often you would like it to. You can gua sha from once a week to seven days a week. If you’re hoping to intensely relieve muscle tension in the face, jaw or neck or smooth your skin tone you could use it every day.

Is Gua Sha good for your face?

Yes, the aim of Gua Sha is to bring new blood to the surface of the skin and encourage lymphatic drainage. Gua sha can soften tension in facial muscles, think of it like exercise for your face — with consistent use, gua sha can reinforce skin and increase skin elasticity. The amount of pressure is important, ensure the pressure is firm but not too hard.

Great quality

I purchased this with a gift voucher I was given for my birthday as I couldn’t find anything else. It’s great quality, quite heavy. It works wonders for when you’re sick though and lymph nodes are inflamed. Some basic ways to use it might be helpful to include in the packaging or some videos on the website.
