Use & Care

Glass bottoms can go in the dishwasher, hand wash the bamboo lids. For caked on food, soak glass bottoms in solution of baking soda and dish soap. Avoid any abrasive cleaners or scrubbers on the bamboo lids. Dry bamboo lids promptly and allow them to dry properly before using them. Eco Stow sets are safe for the freezer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I care for the bamboo lids?

Handwash the lid and let it completely dry prior to storing. Store with the lids off to allow for air flow.

How do I stop the lid from lifting?

When placing hot food in the Eco Stows, let the food cool slightly prior to putting the lid on. If the food is too hot the pressure can cause the lid to lift as the heat and steam expands and tries to escape. Also, ensure the silicone seal is evenly pulled down under the bamboo lid to create a nice seal.

How long can you keep cooked food or moist food in them?

It depends on what food is being stored for this, we recommend researching the longevity of the food you are wishing to store.

Are they Microwave, Oven & Freezer Safe?

Yes! You can use them in the microwave and the oven, but remove the lid first. You can absolutely use them in the freezer, Just wait for any hot liquids to cool down before you place them in the freezer.
