Nice idea, I would definitely use this, and nice rectangle identifier-thing. One thing is the cloud pop up sort of seems like you’re trashing the food item, but then it goes on the list of foods.

can i get this app?
(+) very clear getting the idea across, seems very useful
(-) i bet there is something similar to this sans-AR. How can you take this to the next level?

+a very useful tool for college students who aren’t the best at cooking
- would you have to scan every item in your fridge to get more options? Or what if the recipe called for something random that you didn’t have but could easily go and buy from the store??

the visuals were developed and I appreciate how the menu items function and shifted down as more items were added.
The “poof” when the items were added seemed kind of strange because when I see “poof” I think, they’re eliminated. Perhaps the small food icons could move over to the menu like in video games when you collect items?

I love the idea of listing ingredients and finding a recipe based on those ingredients. Your graphics are pleasing to look at . My suggestion would be to touch up your graphics with gradients and strokes to make them really “pop”.

The “poof” behavior is really nice. I think the information flows through your interface really well.
Your graphics appearance/disappearance is a little bit choppy and I don’t know if this is a product of your motion tweening or the uploading or what, but it might be something to address.
Really nice, useful concept however. Sometimes it’s hard to think of something to use all your remaining foods on. :] (this could even be a nice extension of your “ECO” magazine??).

nice logo, smooth transition between graphics and video, the idea is very clear.
interesting items in your fridge…
could it go more in depth about how you make the recipe.. or maybe what kinds of appliances you have access to?

It is a nice idea and it’s very clear how it works. The small actions of the cloud appearing could be a little faster as it loses my attention after awhile. Or maybe there would be different ways of disappearing according to the content.

Your graphics are nice and clean and the interface looks very intuitive. Nice work!
Could it give us options beyond the obvious? I think ragu sauce + parmesan cheese + noodles would come to me pretty quickly. Maybe there’s another combination that’d also be interesting that I wouldn’t necessarily think of right off the bat? Maybe mac and cheese would be interesting combined with sloppy joe mix, for instance. I dunno!

This would be something great to have. Makes me do less work. Especially on those nights I don’t feel like putting a whole lot of thought/effort in to figuring out what I can make with the few things I have in the fridge.
But what if I’m not necessarily in the mood for what it gives me? Could it give me a few other options to choose from?

This is really nifty, I’d very much appreciate this when just trying to figure out what to cook with what I have. I like how it shows the possibilities using images of what you have to begin with. And the little popcorn pops are fun as well.
Could there be another setting for shopping? And trying to find the best meal for the best deal? Etc?

The graphics are really strong and the concept is well thought-out. Maybe instead of giving the best dinner choice, you can give more options for the user to choose between a variety of meals they can make from these ingredients.

I like how the view finder reads all of the ingredients and knows what they are noodles, sauce, parmesan, salsa…etc. I wonder if it could select and deselect ingredients and have the app tell you recipes to work off of….ie you HAVE noodles and sauce…..you NEED garlic, Parmesan, and bread. Overall, cool idea. i like the ingredients list on the left.
